Goals for March

Go Vegetarian!
That's right I'm cutting out meat. I'm currently transitioning into my new eating plan by eating significantly less meat and taking more supplements to make sure I get all of my vitamins. It'll be fun to write posts about and share recipes. Are any of you vegetarian? Leave me some comments with tips and recipes.

Daily Yoga
I've always loved yoga but never made time for it, so my goal is to do half an hour everyday. They say it takes 21 days to make a habit so try and stick to it!

Eating Breakfast
So important but I always skip it, and then I spend the next few hours feeling tired and hungry.

So I think for these goals in order to stick with them everyday I'll have to plan meals ahead of time and fit in yoga and meal prep into my schedule. For my goal posts I'll do updates throughout the month.

What are your goals for March? Let me know in the comments below!

LUSH Room Freshener?

My favourite LUSH product of all time is the Christmas Eve Bubble Bar. Only available around the holidays so I treat myself to it every year. But this year, I was hesitant to use it because having the bubble bar in my room made it smell so good.

So I pulled out a nice little plate and set the bubble bar right on it. I moved it around between my closet, bedroom and bathroom for the next few weeks and trust me when I say it smelt great. It definitely dried out the bubble bar but it was still fine to use in the bath.

I think it's a nice idea, and your totally get the most out of your LUSH product. Try using your bubble bars as room fresheners for a couple weeks, and then toss them in the bath.

Stay Safe This Winter

Wow, Winter this year is sure kicking our butts. Just a quick reminder to stay safe and warm in the brutal temperatures. Keep gas in your car and always have your winter coat, mittens and boots with you in case your mode of transportation gets stuck or breaks down. Winter is my favourite time of year, but just take extra caution to make sure that you're prepared in case the unexpected happens.

Stay safe everyone!

All About Teal

All About Teal

To find out the brand of each item click the above link. It will lead you to my Polyvore account with more of my fashion and beauty sets.

For the colder weather, I love my dark burgundies and greens but sometimes it's nice to change it up a little. Teal is a great unexpected pop of colour that is super trendy right now, but always in style.

Above are some pieces that caught my eye and can be incorporated into any outfit. Maybe just a white shirt with jeans and add your pop of teal with a beanie, hair bow, or statement jewellery. Or wear all black and put on some teal pumps or a thick tweed teal jacket.

Good pairings for teal are black, white, beiges, grey- really just neutrals. But play around with colours like coral and lighter blues see what works for you.

L'Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes Review

Application: I start at the root of my lashes and brush up to give a solid coat. After waiting a bit I go over the tips. Finally I touch up the lashes on the outside edges (closer to the inner corner and outer corner)

I've gone through 2 or 3 of these. It's a drugstore mascara and I purchased it for around $10. It's a wet based mascara with a plastic brush that has lots of little bristles which comb through your lashes.

What I really love about this mascara is that after a quick sweep there is a big difference, which is perfect because I always seem to run out of time in the mornings. Also no spider lashes!! Which is a deal breaker.

I've found that it doesn't last as long as other mascaras. (Keep in mind I switch out mascaras every six months) It's not that it runs out of product, it just irritates my eyes. So you'd probably need to switch it out after 4 or 5 months.
